Grace Brown-Pouncy is the owner and sole baker of Goodness Graceous Baking.
A native to Georgia, she was first bit by the baking bug over a decade ago. After baking through cookbooks at home for many years, she then went on to work professionally in several notable Atlanta kitchens — Star Provisions, Bacchanalia, and Little Tart Bakeshop.
Goodness Graceous Baking began in spring 2020 as a way to get freshly baked pastries out to the community. It started with deliveries, but gradually turned focus to popups and porch pickups.
Grace currently juggles cottage baking while being a mama. She loves baking as a way to engage with community and has dreams for how it will grow down the road.
During class, we will learn how to make a tender all-butter pie crust from scratch using Graces’ tried and true methods! We will also learn how how to roll out a round pie crust and prepare a double-crust apple pie! Grace will also share her ideas for other pastries you can make using the pie dough.
